Dr. Serle is a well-established alternative doctor with over 27 years of experience (over 5,000 patients) in alternative and traditional medicine. Dr. Serle is one of the most experienced functional medicine doctor physicians at the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). Dr. Serle is one of the first physicians to be board-certified by IFM in 2011. On the day of the first IFM conference (2008), Dr. Jeffrey Bland, a medical doctor and the founder of IFM, thanked Dr. Serle and other alternative physicians for teaching medical doctors like himself about alternative medicine. Dr. Serle has taken postgraduate courses at Harvard Medical School for over 20 years in Neurology, Cardiovascular, Pharmacology, and Rheumatology. Dr. Serle utilized his skills for several years at East Orange Hospital in NJ, where he worked side by side with emergency room medical doctors.
